Optimal ApoB reference ranges for longevity

ApoB is the best biomarker for assessing ASCVD risk, as it encompasses all atherogenic lipoprotein particles, including LDL, IDL, VLDL, and Lp(a).
  • According to Peter Attia, ApoB should be below 65 mg/dL

    62 mg/dL would be the top (best) 5% of the population.

    ApoB between 20 to 30 mg/dL should eliminate ASCVD risk if other risk factors are eliminated as well (high blood pressure and smoking).

    I just don't see a reason to have an ApoB ever north of 60 milligrams per deciliter. -- Peter Attia
